Oftentimes, the worst enemy that anyone faces in their life is the clock. Why is there never enough time in the day to accomplish everything that someone set out to accomplish? How come some people seem to be able to get all their work done, workout for an hour, cook a gourmet meal for their family and then read 4 books to the kids and still get them in bed by 8 p.m.? The key is proper time management and by having this tool in the arsenal, it can open up many different avenues to success for people on their wellness journey.

The key to effective time management is being able to recognize the difference between doing versus accomplishing, but that is much easier said than done.

Ripple Changemaker, Dr. Kathy Cohen, has developed programming that employs the smarter not harder loop of time management. In her approach, time management has less to do with external factors and more to do with self-care. By focusing on strategies that increase contentment and a sense of well-being, she helps employees define and set priorities. The Ripple program will help people recognize the imbalance they experience when they feel overwhelmed with their “lack of time” and teach the skills they need to ask for help in maintaining the right balance for success. One thing will always be true, time will continue to move forward, the challenge is winning the race against it.
