A wellness journey has many different avenues that one can travel down, but the main focus should be to continue to move forward. How to move forward is always going to be a fluid thing, changing and adapting as the situations do, with the hope being that by pivoting around obstacles and different conditions, the path will always be advancing underneath.
When Ripple was started, the vision was to be able to address people's well-being from multiple angles and help them find their better self. Along the way the needs of addressing working parents came into focus and really struck a nerve within me. Knowing the struggles that a working professional faces when children come into their lives is something that I have experienced first hand with my two children. Partnering with NAPS allowed me an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of the working parent, and brought with it a want to do more.
I have been offered a role with NAPS, Director of Strategic Partnerships, and it is a role that I could not turn down. I am still very passionate about health coaching and will continue toward certification, but for now Ripple is going to be on pause.
There were many things I was unsure of when starting Ripple. It was a training ground for how to be an entrepreneur, how to start a business, how to manage clients without the umbrella of a parent corporation. I pivoted and changed lanes and adapted to everything that came my way and I was able to advance my journey further than I ever thought I was capable of. Now I have come to a fork in the road and I have chosen the direction that leads to NAPS and the opportunity to work with two co-founders that have a passion for this space, and that passion is contagious and invigorating.
It is not a goodbye to Ripple, more of a see you soon, because as it has been proven on an almost daily basis, you never know what the future holds, but being ready to tackle it head on and make the best decision for you and your wellness is the goal everyone should be striving for.
