PREPARING MANAGERS



Why does mental health still have such a stigma in the working world? Employees and managers are still fairly reluctant to broach the subject, and oftentimes it comes to light too late. Between a drop in job performance, which affects the company in a negative way and burnout on the employee side, without being able to speak freely about mental health can seriously damage relationships and lead to company turnover.


Changemakers can be the difference for those struggling with their mental health and the managers that are in charge of those people. Understanding mental health status, deciding to seek help, preparing to make a change, and finally sharing with others what is going on, these are the steps to start the recovery process.


None of these steps are easy, but they are very necessary in order to maintain the health of employees and the business at the same time.
